Dear Friends,
Most of you know me very well. You know that I am not an alarmist. However, anyone who is in anyway up to date with the day’s headlines knows that this country is in serious trouble. I believe soon, our country may be in utter chaos.
Many of you know that I have long felt American may come under judgment for her gross sins. No nation has escaped God’s judgment–not one! Yes, this country is blessed to be home to thousands, millions of believers, but I caution you–judgment begins with the house of God! (1 Peter 4:16-19)
So, it is with a very troubled heart that I dare even to write–urging you to begin NOW making preparations for what may result in shortages of almost every kind. (Medical supplies, prescription drugs–have at least a 3 month supply!) Stock up on non-perishables–toilet paper!)
Oh, do not let fear be your guide. I’m not talking about hoarding! Again, that is fear motivated! Remember, Jesus the Christ has overcome the world! Begin this day to become wise stewards of what God has given unto you. We must begin to make preparation.
No, I am not a prophet, nor the daughter of a prophet (God knows!), but Jesus told us to look at the “signs”. Beloved, they are all around us!
There is a wonderful book, “…In My Pantry”, by Donna Martin. I believe this item is still for purchase on EBay. Dear friend, if you knew a hurricane was coming, wouldn’t you prepare? How much more now, during America’s darkest hour?
The worse that could happen if myself and others are wrong is that you have a well stocked supply of items that you should have on hand–regardless. Your supplies will not be wasted. Maybe your neighbors will look at your strangely, but would it be so bad to be a fool for Christ?
Through dreams, God warned His servant Joseph, the great patriarch of our faith, of a most dismal period in Israel’s, yea, Egypt’s history. God placed this man as steward over all of Egypt’s storehouses. Because of Joseph’s wise guidance, the people were saved–even his own family.
Study Joseph’s response to the inevitable catastrophe. It was not fear, but preparation. Model Joseph!
I will tell you what I believe God has spoken to my heart:
Isaiah 52
“Awake, awake, O Zion, clothe yourself with strength. Put on your garments of splendor, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion. For this is what the LORD says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.” For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them. ”And now what do I have here?” declares the LORD. “For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock, “ declares the LORD. “And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed. Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.” How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes. Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD will lay bare his holy arm [Jesus Christ] in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the vessels of the LORD. But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the LORD will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard. See, my servant [Jesus Christ] will act wisely ; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him — his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness–so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.”
Oh, beloved, I do believe that we will depart–but, as our God has spoken, it will not in be in haste or flight. Call me crazy or a fool, but I believe we are in those end-times when Christ will come for His bride–the church–true believers! Rejoice and fear not! God our reigns!
Do not fear! God has promised to go before us and that He will be our rear guard. Whom then shall we fear?
Be sober! Be strong in the Lord. Let us be on our faces before a holy and just God. Let’s meet Him with joy and gladness, not regret!
I love you all!
