What does a rock represent? Strength. Stability.
A rock neither gives one way or the other.
A rock represents patience, for it remains steadfast…
Unless or until it is moved by some other force.
I have found the most precious Rock!
He, too, is steadfast, stable, sturdy and strong,
He is a Rock Who can always be relied upon!
Oh, one day a mighty Force will move my Rock!
On that day, great shouts from heaven and earth shall resound!
Until that great and terrible day, my Rock remains ever the same,
A comfort and solace to all who kneel before Him on holy ground!
My rock has a name which will never change–The Rock of Ages, The Rock of Salvation!
